چکیده
Artykuł podejmuje problem zaopatrzenia pourazowej przepukliny przeponowej, która wystąpiła u 56-letniej pacjentki po urazie wielonarządowym. Nie istnieje wypracowany standard postępowania w sytuacji wystąpienia szerokiego ubytku przepony. Zgodnie z obowiązującą wiedzą medyczną obecność przeponowej towarzyszącymi objawami klinicznymi stanowi wskazanie do interwencji chirurgicznej. budzi wątpliwości konieczność natychmiastowej operacji przypadku potwierdzenia krwotoku, niedrożności lub innych wskazań pilnych. Natomiast odroczenie części chorych może przynieść znaczące korzyści. Przedoperacyjne leczenie żywieniowe, wyrównanie metaboliczne i wodno-elektrolitowe oraz opracowanie strategii chirurgicznego obniżają ryzyko powikłań śmiertelności chorych.
